The Community Centre is available to hire on a casual or regular basis, and is suitable for a wide range of use.
The Centre holds up to 150 people and is available for hire all year round (apart from the Christmas/New Year break). The Centre offers a large hall, together with a small meeting room (15 people maximum) and full kitchen facilities (non-commercial).
A variety of equipment and resources are also available for hall hirers, including a table tennis table and two computers.
Venue hire fees
The following hall hire fees apply to the Centre:
Community Use (open to the public for free/small charge and run by a community group)
$16 per hour
Non-Community Use (open to the public, but privately run)
$21 per hour
Commercial Use (use by a group/business that is profit making)
$36 per hour
Private Social Functions (not open to the public – birthday parties, etc.)
$26 per hour
A bond will be charged for hall hire as follows:
Social bookings involving alcohol (day or evening): $500
Other evening social bookings (not involving alcohol): $300
All daytime social bookings (not involving alcohol): $150
