Discover the sounds of Bali in the Miramar community!

As part of promotion for their 2024 courses, Mekar Bhuana Aotearoa Balinese music and dance organisation will be holding a free open rehearsal of their exquisite court gamelan music called Semara Patangian. It’s a great chance to have a sample before you commit to joining one of their courses next year and also a great opportunity to learn something about a different culture from experts from Bali. Apart from shimmering bronze metallophones, gongs, cymbals and drums, they’ll be  chance for you to join in, ask questions and enjoy snacks and refreshments together with this welcoming music community. 

This is the only place in Aotearoa you can do this, so don’t miss out!
