Hāngi are available for $8. For presales, get in touch (see below). We will also have free sausage sizzle & vege snacks available.
We invite you to bring along your favourite desert to share!
WORKSHOPS Come along from 4pm to experience, join in or learn about Mirimiri (massage), rongoā (māori remedy), harakeke weaving, kemū māori (games).
We will have Manawa doing Tā moko: Manawa can hear whānau say there mihimihi, pepeha and then draw a kiri tua design on that represents their iwi. We also have Tim from our local tattoo studio who can do some designs for those with tauiwi (non-māori) ancestry.
We will have some instruments (or bring your own) for people to play some music and waiata.
KAPAHAKA and performances from local kura/schools & rōpū.
DJ & KANIKANI (dance) for you and the tamariki.
